Our range of facial treatments is vast. You have various options at your disposal here at Fresh Face Aesthetics and Beauty. With microneedling, we can prick the skin to spur the growth of new collagen and skin tissue. Whichever of our facial treatments you have agreed to receive, however, we can talk you through it, allowing you to make a firm and well-informed decision.
Please note that skin consultations are required prior to treatment to ensure that it is suitable for your skin type, and that you have the best cosmetic results.
Dermaplane Facial
Dermaplaning is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure for your skin. We use a specialist instrument to remove vellus hair (peach fuzz), gently exfoliate the outer layers of the skin and removes any dead skin cells. Dermaplaning can be used to solve a wide range of skin concerns on both the face and body - It can help reduce the appearance of acne scars or other skin imperfections by revealing newer, undamaged skin, and increase the absorption rates of all topical products by 80%. Get silky smooth skin with the Dermaplaning Facial. Dermaplaning is suitable for all skin types and is a must as it helps to make your skin's surface smooth, youthful and radient. Using a sterile medical grade blade, this treatment helps to remove deep scarring from acne, dull and uneven skin, fine lines/wrinkles. It's also used to remove peach fuzz, the short soft hairs on your face, but don't worry it doesn't grow back any thicker, it just grows back the same as before. Includes a Double Cleanse, Tone, Dermaplaning (removal of peach fuzz and dead skin cells), followed by a relaxing facial massage and finishes with a moisturiser and SPF.
Microdermabrasion Facial
Microdermabrasion is a cosmetic procedure that uses fine crystals and a vacuum to remove dead skin cells, it is safe and effective for all skin types. This device works like sandpaper over the face, removing dead skin cells revealing a fresh layer of skin. The exfoliating crystals are very fine and won't cause damage to your skin. Since microdermabrasion requires no needle-punctures or numbing agents, there's no risk for scarring or infection. Treatment is painless with little to no discomfort. This facial promotes cell turnover as well as collagen and elastin growth. The resurfaced skin looks healthier with less visible lines/wrinkles, pores, age spots, dullness and scars. It can be used on the face, neck, chest, back and hands to make the skin smoother and younger looking. From 1 session of microdermabrasion, you can expect clean, plump, and glowing skin. You need to avoid sun exposure after the treatment. Expect a certain amount of redness after the treatment. After your facial, the skin will feel exfoliated and refreshed, and noticeably softer. You may need more than 1 treatment so with repeated sessions, results will last longer due to the fact that you receive a deeper exfoliation.
Dermaroller (Collagen Induction Therapy)
A dermaroller is a titanium device that is rolled over the skin to create thousands of tiny contact points. It is a type of microneedling treatment that causes the body to create a wound-healing process for rejuvenated, smoother and younger-looking skin. Dermaroller treatment is good for clients who need a large area treated, and is most commonly used to treat the following skin conditions:
Dull skin: Rejuvenate tired and dull skin and combat the initial signs of ageing.
Wrinkles: Fine lines and wrinkles on the face can be visibly reduced, as dermarolling triggers collagen production.
Scarring: Scars from acne and Chicken Pox can be improved and an uneven texture can be smoothed out with dermarolling.
Pigmentation: This can help to fade dark patches such as pigmentation due to sun damage or ageing.

Microneedling (Collagen Induction Therapy)
A microneedling facial is a minimally invasive procedure that inflicts controlled superficial puncture wounds into the skin through tiny needles, which requires numbing cream to avoid pain, releasing growth factors that stimulate the fibroblasts, creating new collagen and elastin. The aim of the treatment is to traumatise the skin without collateral damage to the epidermis layer of the skin and healthy skin tissues, as a result, microneedling promotes cell turnover and collagen growth by creating tiny muscle tears. These microscopic injuries cause your skin to switch to an urgent healing mode. And this results in healthier skin. It’s a very popular anti-aging facial treatment to tighten the skin and get rid of fine lines/wrinkles. Microneedling is also widely used on other areas of the body - it promotes hair growth for people with Alopecia, reduces scarring and stretch marks, reduces enlarged pores, and helps with the appearance with hyperpigmentation and dark spots. A course of 4-6 treatments is advised every 4-6 weeks.

This treatment results in an increased production of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid which in turn improves your skin's appearance, texture and firmness. Collagen production is accelerated, along with cellular turnover. While some results may be almost immediate, your best results usually won't be visible until 4-6 weeks after the procedure. For some problem areas a course of treatments is recommended for best results. Book for a consultation to find out what is best suited for you.

Mesotherapy
Mesotherapy is a non-invasive procedure that is widely used to promote cellular hydration which in turn begins the rejuvenation process of rebuilding collagen of the skin. Micro-injections into the middle layer of the skin (mesoderm) will deliver the necessary healing or corrective treatment to aid with a variety of conditions, targeting specific areas of the body. You will notice the following improvements in your skin: hydration, tone, brightness, wrinkles and fine lines. Repairs to your which you won't notice are the improvements of cellular structure - the increase in protection of cells, collagen, elastin and an increase in young fibroblast cells (the most significant cell in terms of anti-ageing). Vitamins, amino-acids, minerals, hyaluronic acid, and all essential components for healthy skin cells, can be delivered by mesotherapy to reduce the appearance of cellulite, smooth out lines and wrinkles, remove fat, tighten skin, and recontour the body. Areas that can be treated include rejuvenation for the face, hands, neck and décolleté, superficial wrinkles, cellulite, hair loss, body contouring and localised fat reduction.
Skin Boosting Injections
Profhilo
Profhilo is an intense skin booster used to help rejuvenate the skin. It is an injectable moisturiser made from highly concentrated, purified hyaluronic acid and is designed for deep skin hydration leaving a plump, glowing appearance to the skin. It is not thick like dermal fillers and so when injected under the skin it is injected in specific areas of the face and it spreads around 2 cm around the injection site. It will not add structure or volume to the face so if you want to alter the shape or features of your face, dermal fillers are a better option for you. Profhilo is recommended for adults who feel their skin has begun to sag, and can use it to treat the face, neck and décolletage to rejuvenate the overall appearance.
Shannon will take you through a consultation, and discuss with you how Profhilo can be used alongside your other treatments to add a bright, fresh finish to your skin. Results last up to 12 months for one single treatment.

Lumi-Eyes is a high quality injection-based product based on polynucleotides that repair damage to the dermis with tissue regenerating material. Stimulation of the skin cells, collagen and elastin delays the ageing processes and strengthens the skin. Aftercare
In the aftermath of treatment, you should follow the specific aftercare advice we provide to you. Heeding this advice is hugely important, as our facial treatments are very varied and so which of them you opt for will have implications for your aftercare efforts.

DERMAPEN MICRONEEDLING- BEFORE AND AFTER CARE
PRIOR TO TREATMENT:
• No Retin-A products or applications for 12 hours prior to treatment
• No auto-immune therapies or products for 12 hours prior to treatment
• No prolonged sun exposure or sun burns to the treatment area 24 hours prior to treatment
• Skin should be clean and make-up free
• If an active or extreme breakout occurs before treatment, evaluate on a case by case basis
POST-OPERATE TREATMENT:
After the treatment, take precautions against sun exposure. Do not apply sunscreen for 12 hours after the Dermapen treatment due to the skins channels being open for a period of time and due to the toxic nature of some sunscreens on the market.
• Do not perform any vigorous exercise for at least 12 hours after treatment
• Do not apply make up for at least 12 hours after the treatment.
• Dermapen needling may trigger a cold sore response in patients, clients prone to breakouts should have medication ready.
• Wash the face with water alone the night of treatment and pat down with a clean dry towel.
• Replace any pillow cases for the night after treatment.
• For the first 1-3 days, the skin will be very dry and feel tight
• After 2-3 days’ patients, can return to regular skin care products or as soon as it is comfortable to do so
• Avoid alcohol based toners 10-14 days
• Avoid direct sun exposure for at least 10 days if possible
TREATMENT RECOVERY TIMELINE:
• Day 1: erythema and red appearance and severity will depend upon aggressive the treatment was performed.
• Day 2: May feel like moderate sunburn. Swelling may be more noticeable on the second day
• Day 3-5 skin can be pink or normal colour. Swelling subsides if any.
